I’ve been using Wordpress for my blog since 2007. While it has “done the job”, I’ve never been thrilled with it, and I’ve often been frustrated with it. I decided to switch to a static site generator.
I’m a programmer, and I’ve been using the Racket programming language as my primary programming language for a couple years, so I’ve selected Frog as my static site generator, since I can add features in Racket.
One of the challenges with static site generation is dealing with comments. At the moment, I don’t have a commenting solution, but I’ll be researching the options.
I expect to be blogging more regularly than in recent years, and I’ll probably be using other social media less, so if you want to know what’s going on with the Adkins family, check this space :)
